Each year, the Champaign County Freedom Celebration, made up entirely of volunteers, sets out to host a celebration of our American heritage. We are funded entirely through donations. The Committee receives no funding from any governmental bodies. Only donations from people like you and sponsorships from area businesses make this celebration possible!
Your Support Is Needed!
Since its inception in 1949, the Champaign County Freedom Celebration features one of the largest and most entertaining parades in the area and the biggest fireworks show for miles around. But we can’t do it without your help! This community July 4th celebration costs nearly $100,000 to put on.
Our event is supported entirely by donations from local businesses and members of the community like you. We are an IRS 501 (c)(3) organization — so your donation or sponsorship is tax deductible. Sponsorships are recognized through our advertising — website, newspaper, as well as promotions through our publicity events. The money raised this year will go towards funding next year’s show.
