The parade is always a popular event! Thousands attend the Champaign County Freedom Celebration Parade! Come out and help us celebrate the honoring our American heritage. The parade will take place, rain or shine. Cancellation may occur if there is lightning. The parade will not be re-scheduled to another date.
NOTE: Deadline for regular fee parade entry extended to June 22nd.

GRAND MARSHAL: Local Fire & Police Departments
PARADE ROUTE: The parade begins near First & Florida. Continues East on Florida to Lincoln Ave. then proceeds North on Lincoln Ave to California. Parade units turn onto Illinois street to disperse and exit area at Goodwin Ave. Click HERE for a copy of the event map.

2013 Parade Judging results
- President's Trophy
The President's Trophy is awarded by the Champaign County Freedom Celebration Board President. This award is selected from all entries entered into the judging.
- Theme Trophy
The Theme Trophy is awarded to the entry that best represents this year's theme and communicates the message of freedom.
Floats created by amateur participants will be awarded first, second, and third place. The CCFCC professionally built floats are not eligible for awards.
- Antique Class
Antique Class first and second place trophies are awarded to antique vehicle units in the parade.
- Judge's Choice (formerly potpourri category)
Judge's Choice first and second place trophies are awarded to units selected from all other entries. This category includes any entry that is not a float, antique vehicle, or equestrian entry.
